On-Campus Approvals
On-campus requests must be submitted by noon at least 15 business days before the event. Approval for On-campus events is required from the Student Life and Development (SLD) Associate or designee and Student Event Management Committee.
Approvals/notifications must be received by the appropriate offices noted below, where applicable, at or before the Student Event Management meeting.

Ensure you have completed all the requirements:
- Complete the Activity Waiver, Release, and Indemnification Agreement for high-risk activities (if applicable).
- For performers: Complete the Volunteer Agreement and NSHE Sexual Harassment Policy Form.
- Receive contract approval from the Student Life and Development Associate and Budget and Planning Office.
- Read, understand, and agree to the : and .
- Pending approval of the Student Event Management Committee, submit the event on the .
Off-Campus Approvals
Off-campus requests must be submitted at least 30 business days before the event. Approval for Off-campus events is required from the Student Life and Development (SLD) Associate or designee and the President’s Cabinet. Ensure you have made the appropriate reservations, where applicable, and completed all requirements:
- Complete the Activity Waiver, Release, and Indemnification Agreement for high-risk activities.
- Follow SGA Club Travel Procedures (if applicable).
- Read, understand, and agree to Appendix J and L of the .
Virtual Event Approvals
Virtual requests must be submitted by noon at least ten business days before the event. Virtual events are approved by the Student Life and Development (SLD) Associate or designee and the President’s Cabinet.
