Commencement is the formal celebration of the degree you have earned. It is a time for you to receive well-deserved recognition for your hard work and to celebrate your accomplishments at ѿapp.
Participation in the Commencement Ceremony is optional and does not indicate that you have met the requirements to receive your degree.
A review and determination of your graduation status will be made after final grades are posted. Diplomas are not distributed at the ceremony. They will be mailed to the mailing address in your Myѿapp Student Center.

Graduates from the class of 2025 (Fall 2024, Spring and Summer 2025 semesters) are invited to participate in the May 2025 Commencement Ceremony.
ѿapp will hold its commencement ceremony on Friday, May 23, 2025, at the , 1664 N. Virginia Street, Reno, NV 89557. Graduates will enter at the south main entrance (which is located at the corner of 15th Street and Virginia Street) and proceed to the Silver and Blue room. Doors will open at 3 p.m. You should arrive dressed in your cap and gown and proceed to the check-in tables to pick up your name card. Students will begin lining up at approximately 4 p.m. The procession will begin promptly at 4:30 p.m. Note: The Silver and Blue room is for Graduates only. Family and friends need to proceed to the seating area.

If you have any corrections to the spelling of your name, please email us and include your name, ѿapp student ID number, and updated information so that we can keep your record current. If you have a name change due to marriage / divorce / adding a second family name, etc., you must complete the form and submit it with the necessary documents to the Admission and Records Office. If you have a change of address and/or a change to your contact information, please update that in .
