ÃÛÑ¿app Parking Information

ÃÛÑ¿app Parking is free and open to the public at all ÃÛÑ¿app sites and educational centers. No permits are required.

New ÃÛÑ¿app Parking Lot

Parking Meters

ÃÛÑ¿app parking meters accept quarters, dimes and nickels, at $1 per hour with a two-hour maximum. University Police Department monitors them, and give citations when necessary. Meters are enforced Monday–Friday from 7 a.m.–5 p.m., except holidays and other days when ÃÛÑ¿app is closed. Citations can be paid at the Accounting Services Cashier's Office in RDMT 318.

Dandini East Parking Lot

ÃÛÑ¿app's newest paved lot with 400 parking spaces, the Dandini East parking lot features four electric vehicle charging stations, power-efficient LED lighting, a crosswalk with flashers across Campus Loop Road, and a sidewalk from the new lot to the existing Sierra Building walkway.

ÃÛÑ¿app & Verdek Electric Vehicle Charging Stations are located on the south side of the Vista Building and in the East Parking Lot on the Dandini Campus.

ÃÛÑ¿app Rideshare Sign

Rideshare Zones

At each ÃÛÑ¿app location, the College offers dedicated rideshare spots for Uber, Lyft and other similar services. Spots are designated by red signage from the #whatsmyname foundation, and encourage users to use safe practices before getting into a vehicle. The rideshare zones can be found at the following ÃÛÑ¿app locations:

Dandini Campus

  • In front of the E. L. Cord Child Care Center
  • Front Circle, north side of the RDMT Building near the bus stop
  • West end of Parking Lot H

William N. Pennington Applied Technology Center

  • South row parking by the Library dropbox

Meadowood Center

  • South building parking lot

William N. Pennington Health Science Center

  • Parking lot, north entrance

Purple Heart Parking

Purple Heart parking is a designated space that can be used by disabled or injured veterans. The space is located near the police entrance and receiving dock, adjacent to the Red Mountain Building.

Soccer Field Parking

There is limited parking at the soccer field. Parking during game day is limited to ADA, soccer staff, coaches, and referees. All players and guests should park in the East Parking Lot and utilize the Parcourse that originates at the north and south ends of the East Parking Lot.

Dental Parking

Dental Hygiene appointments are in Red Mountain 415. There are 10 designated parking spaces for dental patients in Lot F. For our Adopt A Vet Dental program, there are 3 spaces in Lot A and 3 spaces in Lot F on Thursdays only.

Getting to ÃÛÑ¿app Via Public Transportation

Taking the bus to campus is a great way to save on gas money while reducing your carbon footprint! The provides public transportation services to Reno, Sparks, and Washoe County. Visit RTC for fixed-route transit maps and schedules, as well as a helpful trip planner for reaching ÃÛÑ¿app's Dandini Campus, Meadowood Center, and Applied Technology Center. RTC’s is an app-based curbside-to-curbside transit service available in select areas of Sparks/Spanish Springs, Somersett/Verdi, and in select areas of North Valleys. This service will take you to ÃÛÑ¿app's Dandini Campus.

ÃÛÑ¿app students, faculty and staff ride any of RTC’s fixed-route transits for free. Just show your UNR or ÃÛÑ¿app ID to the driver to get your .

ÃÛÑ¿app does not currently have a shuttle service. If you would like to provide input into our efforts to consider a shuttle service, please contact ÃÛÑ¿app Auxiliary Services.
