Truckee Meadows Community College students will convene with collegiate representatives from all Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) institutions at the Legislative Building in Carson City on Monday, March 2.
"This is a student rally in support of NSHE efforts to expand the Millennium Scholarship, start a community college workforce development fund, and start a state funded need-based financial aid program,” said Stephanie Prevost, Student Government Association (SGA) President at ѿapp.
Members of the ѿapp community who are interested in attending the event are invited to contact her for more information.
“The students are stepping up all over the state of Nevada and paying higher tuition costs, it's time for the state to step up and help us fund the future," Prevost said.
